Spirit of Adventure is an organisation that uses the medium of outdoor adventure to promote personal and inter personal growth. The camp has been in operation since 1994 and has had in excess of 80 000 people passing through its various courses.

Spirit of Adventure is based within the Shongweni Game Reserve which is only a 40 min drive from

the Durban city centre. The reserve is home to a variety of wild animals such as rhino, buffalo, giraffe, wildebeest and different species of antelope. This tranquil reserve setting becomes home away from home to those attending the Leadership Year.
